With nearly two decades of experience working both as in-house counsel as well as a private practice lawyer, Brigette takes a balanced approach to assisting her clients with developing business-oriented solutions while minimizing legal risk.

As assistant general counsel for one of the nation’s largest homebuilding companies, Brigette advised executive and senior management teams on a broad variety of complex legal and business issues including operational compliance, regulatory compliance, corporate agreements, intellectual property, consumer financial regulatory compliance, consumer privacy and data privacy. While in private practice, Brigette’s practice was litigation-focused. She has represented clients across various industries on sophisticated litigation matters, including contract and complex commercial disputes, business torts, uniform commercial code disputes, intellectual property disputes, supply chain disputes, and employment law.

    • Developed and implemented multiple compliance programs/policies.
    • Drafted and negotiated numerous sophisticated corporate agreements including supply, purchasing/procurement, labor, intellectual property, software licensing, and marketing agreements.
    • Managed client’s intellectual property portfolio.
    • Counseled clients on issues related to advertising law and promotions law.
    • Represented clients in litigation matters from initiation of suit through post-judgment motions and appeals, as well as arbitration and mediation proceedings.
