Overview

Meredith’s practice focuses on all phases of litigation, from discovery to evidentiary hearings to trying cases. Prior to joining Schiff Hardin, she was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of Illinois, where she prosecuted a variety of cases, including gun, drug, child exploitation, and white-collar crimes.

Meredith has tried cases to juries and briefed and argued appeals in the Seventh Circuit. While earning her law degree, she litigated motions and preliminary hearings as a student in the Stanford Criminal Prosecution Clinic. Prior to becoming an AUSA, she clerked for the Honorable Sara Darrow of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. Meredith approaches cases with close attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and a commitment to excellence.
