Overview

Sam assists on a variety of transactional and private equity matters, including the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds. He also advises companies in a wide range of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, business formation, investments, and other corporate governance matters. Sam simplifies complex tasks to offer clients practical solutions that fit their needs.

Before attending law school, Sam was an armor officer in the U.S. Army. He served as a platoon leader and troop executive officer with the 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team in Afghanistan, and was a troop commander with the 194th Armored Brigade in Fort Benning, Georgia. His decorations include the Bronze Star Medal and two Army Commendation Medals. Sam’s overseas experience strengthened his ability to listen, communicate, and negotiate — all skills necessary for effective client advocacy.
