ArentFox Schiff will host the Food Policy Impact Summit at our Washington, DC, office on February 27-28, 2024. FDA Practice Leader Karen Carr and Partner Rachel Remke will present on timely developments impacting the food and nutrition regulatory landscape.

The Food Policy Impact Summit, organized by the Washington, DC, Section of the Institute of Food Technologists in partnership with the American Society for Nutrition, will provide attendees with the latest updates on changes to food and nutrition-related regulations, policies, and programs as well as industry insight into how organizations plan to respond or are already responding to these changes.

Karen will provide an update on biotechnology in food and agriculture, and Rachel will present on the implications of conflicting state and federal legislation governing food and nutrition. Attendees will also hear from leaders at FDA, USDA, DHHS, and EPA, and Helena Bottemiller Evich, founder of Food Fix, an industry-leading publication offering food policy news and analysis, will deliver the keynote address.
