Novak Quoted on Employer Discipline for Workers’ Social Media Posts

Partner Lauren Novak was quoted on how employers can ensure that they are following state laws and the National Labor Relations Act when applying discipline to employees for offensive posts on social media

Lauren said that employers should review their employee handbooks and policies and adjust them accordingly to ensure that employees know what they can and can't do, adding that they should pay particular attention to the wording of social media, equal employment opportunity,  and anti-harassment policies.
