Schiff Hardin LLP is proud to announce that the firm and three of its attorneys have been ranked in the eighth edition of IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals, a guide that identifies top patent professionals according to 1,800 private practice and in-house professionals.
The firm was ranked for its work in patent litigation in Illinois. The 2019 IAM 1000 guide said that the firm’s lawyers “think ahead to determine the most compelling underlying trial themes and establish what they are going to need to prove to carry the day.”
Intellectual Property Practice Group Co-Leaders Imron Aly and Sailesh Patel were recognized for their patent litigation work in Illinois. The guide called Imron a “lawyer who lives and breathes his cases and does everything he can to win,” and noted that Sailesh “is great at trial and brings excellent business judgement to the settlement negotiation table.” Partner Laura Brutman, who leads the firm’s Patent Prosecution Group, was also highlighted for her quality patent prosecution work in New York for powerful information technology and semiconductor entities.
The 2019 IAM Patent 1000 guide is compiled following a five-month interview process to identify the leading patent attorneys and the markets in which they practice.
