Ajax Recognized with CVLS Distinguished Service Award for Pro Bono Work

Caitlin Ajax has been selected as a recipient of the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) 2019 Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her superior work providing pro bono services. Caitlin represented low-income clients in juvenile court on matters regarding child protection and parental rights and worked on a domestic relations matter.

With more than 50 years of experience and over 2,300 volunteer attorneys, CVLS has become the preeminent pro bono civil legal aid provider in the Chicago area.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Schiff’s partnership with CVLS. The firm was one of the first organizations to adopt a CVLS neighborhood clinic and the first law firm to receive the organization’s Atticus Finch Award, honoring entities and person who exemplify the legal profession’s highest ideals.
