Schiff Hardin partner J. Mark Fisher will present at the 2017 Annual Business Valuation Symposium: A Guide to the Changing Legal Environment.
From 3:30 – 4:00 p.m., Mark will co-present “Avoiding Valuation Errors that May Affect Future Litigation” on how valuation is used in litigation and bankruptcy, and potential steps to take to combat hindsight bias if the deal falls apart.
The Annual Business Valuation Symposium is produced in collaboration with IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and Mazars USA to provide a program of timely valuation topics.
Mark has an innate ability to present the law and underlying reasons in practical terms, helping him resolve hundreds of deals and cases in his 35 years as a finance and restructuring lawyer. He has represented parties in over 50 financially-distressed acquisitions in and outside bankruptcy cases.
