Schiff Hardin partner Joanne B. Faycurry will participate in a session titled "The Latest Developments in Michigan State and Local Taxation" during the 26th Annual Tax Conference, presented by the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan in cooperation with the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). The panel will discuss recent Michigan cases on sales/use taxes as well as SBT and MBT legacy issues and CIT developments.
Ms. Faycurry, a member of the firm's Tax Group and leader of State and Local Tax Group, has more than 25 years of experience in a wide range of state and local taxation matters, representing clients in state tax controversy matters and property tax appeals before state tax tribunals, state courts and appellate courts. She assists her clients in obtaining considerable tax refunds and savings with respect to nearly every state and local tax levied in Michigan.
