Summary:

Schiff Hardin defended Palmer & Cay and one of its executives in a lawsuit filed by the executive's former employer, Marsh & McLennan. The suit was one of a series of cases that Marsh pursued against Palmer & Cay and its management team after Palmer & Cay expanded into the Midwest to compete with Marsh. The case was hotly contested through discovery, and then settled after imposition of discovery sanctions against Marsh.
