Summary:

Schiff Hardin represented a leading international financial institution in a highly contested bankruptcy proceeding in Florida involving a hospital and two related extended care facilities. In addition, we assisted with a foreclosure proceeding in Pennsylvania involving the debtors' affiliated real property holding company, and related action for a money judgment against the guarantors.

The matter involved contested cash collateral, conversion and dismissal proceedings, coordinated with the state foreclosure and guaranty actions. Orders were entered acknowledging the our client's claim in full, directing the debtors to pay all of its legal fees and costs, and directing the debtors to dismiss their bankruptcy proceedings by a date certain.
