Schiff Hardin LLP's Jeffrey S. Jacobovitz will Co-Moderate the Canadian Immunity and Amnesty Program Sponsored by the American Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association

Jeffrey S. Jacobovitz, leader of Schiff Hardin's Washington D.C. Litigation practice, will co-moderate the Canadian Immunity and Amnesty program sponsored by the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Canadian Bar Association (CBA). The program will focus on recent developments in criminal antitrust immunity and amnesty issues in Canada and the United States, and will feature a diverse international panel of governmental officials and private defense counsel. The Canadian Immunity and Amnesty program is scheduled for November 29 in Toronto.

Mr. Jacobovitz is also Vice Chair of the Criminal Practice and Procedure Committee of the ABA's Section of Antitrust Law.

Mr. Jacobovitz concentrates his practice in antitrust, white collar criminal defense, and civil litigation. This includes more than 35 criminal and civil jury trials as first chair. Mr. Jacobovitz has also conducted negotiations for various high-profile professionals in law and the media.

His antitrust clients include corporations, trade associations, health care organizations, and individuals. His extensive criminal defense experience ranges from white collar prosecutions involving antitrust, money laundering, fraud, perjury, forfeiture, and tax evasion charges to major Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and conspiracy indictments.
