Schiff Hardin LLP's Robert J. Minkus will speak at the Practising Law Institute's Understanding the Securities Laws 2007 Program

Robert J. Minkus, a partner in Schiff Hardin's Corporate and Securities Group, will speak at the Understanding the Securities Laws 2007 program sponsored by the Practising Law Institute (PLI). Mr. Minkus' session is "Securities Act Registration Exemptions." The program is scheduled for November 12 and 13 at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center in downtown Chicago.

Mr. Minkus focuses his work on mergers and acquisitions and issues of public disclosure. This includes representing several of Schiff Hardin's largest and longest-term clients in significant purchases and dispositions of core and non-core businesses, as well as leveraged buyouts, and other securities transactions and offerings. His practice also includes general corporate and corporate finance matters.

Mr. Minkus also chairs Schiff Hardin's Professional Personnel Committee and is a member of our firm's Diversity Committee and Opinion Committee.
