Schiff Hardin LLP's Renee Cipriano will serve as a Member of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Environmental Law

Renee Cipriano, a partner in Schiff Hardin's Environmental Group, has been appointed to serve as a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Environmental Law. Ms. Cipriano will serve a three-year term.

The Standing Committee's work is devoted to examination and analysis of emerging environmental law and policy issues; development of ABA policies in the field; and communication about the myriad environmental law activities taking place throughout the ABA.

About Renee Cipriano
Ms. Cipriano's practice focuses on providing environmental strategic planning and counseling to a number of clients, including the energy industry, with respect to several local and national initiatives. This includes an emphasis on government relations and public law and policy. She has extensive experience handling complex regulatory authorization/permitting matters, local government approvals, local siting matters, public hearings and community outreach, and situational management. She also has overseen complex multidimensional infrastructure projects, brownfields redevelopment projects and energy projects.
