Schiff Hardin partners, Patricia Brown Holmes, leader of Schiff Hardin's White Collar Crime and Corporate Compliance Group, and Kenneth M. Roberts, co-leader of Schiff Hardin's Construction Group, will speak at the "Beyond Legal: A Business Approach to Corporate Governance" conference presented by the American Bar Association's (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, Task Force on Corporate Governance Institute. Ms. Holmes' session is "Corporate Investigations: Deal or No Deal — Is There Really a Choice?" Mr. Roberts' session is "Diversity in the Boardroom," and he is also a member of the ABA's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, Task Force on Corporate Governance.
The conference aims to develop and encourage a meaningful dialogue regarding what really drives good corporate governance and is scheduled for May 8-9 at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers in New York City. About Patricia Brown Holmes
Ms. Holmes is a former state trial judge with extensive federal and state trial experience. She currently represents several businesses, state and local agencies, and high-profile individuals in matters involving the federal, state and local government, including internal investigations, whistleblower/qui tam matters, and compliance and white collar criminal issues. She also handles complex litigation matters on behalf of a variety of corporate clients.
