The Proactive Creditor: Creditors' Committees

Schiff Hardin LLP Proactive Creditor Webinar Series

March 24, 2011

1:00  - 2:00 p.m.  CDT

Louis T. DeLucia and Jon C. Vigano, both partners in Schiff Hardin's Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights group, will present the "Creditors' Committees" webinar on Thursday, March 24, which is part of the firm's Proactive Creditor Webinar Series.

An active and involved creditors' committee plays a crucial role in a Chapter 11 case and is frequently credited for an increase in distributions to unsecured creditors. This module will discuss the critical role of a creditors' committee in maximizing asset value, how to become a member, the fiduciary duties of a member, and other key issues to equip you with the vital information you need as you deliberate whether or not to seek appointment to a creditors' committee.
