- 2:00 p.m.
CST Eugene J. Geekie Jr. and Jason M. Torf, partners in Schiff Hardin's Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights group will be presenting the webinar "Automatic Stay Issues" on Thursday, Jan. 27 as part of Schiff Hardin's Proactive Creditor Webinar Series.
How are your rights and claims against your customer affected when your customer files bankruptcy? This module will discuss the impact of the automatic stay on your ability to collect a debt owed by your bankrupt customer, including circumstances when the automatic stay does or does not apply to stop you from attempting to collect a debt.
Our distinguished speakers are members of the Schiff Hardin Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Group and represent clients in all aspects of corporate reorganizations, restructurings, workouts, liquidations, foreclosures and bankruptcies.
