Peter V. Fazio Jr., a partner in Schiff Hadin's Energy and Public Utilities group, received the honor of having the Emergency Department of Saint Anthony Hospital named after him and his wife Patti. Mr. Fazio who has served on the board of directors since 1995 and was elected the chair of the board in 1999, was instrumental in Saint Anthony Hospital's branching off on its own from Ascension Health, the Nation's largest Catholic healthcare provider, in July 2009. "I am humbled by this honor, and I am so proud of what Saint Anthony Hospital has achieved," says Mr. Fazio. "I am thankful to Guy Medaglia (President and Chief Executive Officer of Saint Anthony Hospital), who's expertise has brought financial stability to the organization. I am also thankful to the Archdiocese of Chicago, which supports our efforts to show our service to God and to our community. We're doing a better job here every day."
The Fazios' three children, along with their six grandchildren, attended the October 23 dedication ceremony.
