Therese Squillo, Schiff Hardin LLP's Client Services Coordinator, has been elected to the LMA's International Board as a Member-at-Large for a two-year term commencing January 1, 2007.
The Legal Marketing Association is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1985 and dedicated to serving the needs and maintaining the professional standards of the men and women involved in marketing within the legal profession. LMA is led by an elected National Board of Directors. This Board consists of a President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect, an Associate Member, five Members-At-Large, and the Executive Director and Associate Executive Director. The Chair of the Chapter Presidents' Committee is also welcome as an ex-officio member of all Board discussions, although this is a nonvoting position.
Therese Squillo has just celebrated her 25th anniversary at Schiff Hardin. She joined the firm's Marketing & Communications Department in 1998 after serving in a variety of other administrative and legal support positions at Schiff Hardin dating back to 1981. Ms. Squillo oversees a wide range of marketing activities, including firm events, the Women Attorneys Networking Group, the firm's award-winning gift/premium program, production of instructional videos for the firm's Labor and Employment Group, and other video projects, as well as serving as a liaison to several other Schiff Hardin practice groups. She has been honored in the past by the LMA with Your Honor awards for her achievements in law firm marketing, and she has been active in various committee work for the LMA. Her election to the LMA International Board illustrates her outstanding reputation among law firm marketers for her leadership and professionalism.
