Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Inaugural Americas Women in Business Law Awards program has named Schiff Hardin the “Best Law Firm in the Midwest.” The award criteria honors law firms for “family-friendly work practices and women leading the field in the legal sector across the Americas.”

This honor is one in a continuing series of awards Schiff Hardin has received in recent months for its women and diversity achievements. Earlier this year, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (“MCCA”) recognized Schiff Hardin’s exemplary diversity achievements by honoring the firm with the prestigious Thomas L. Sager Award for the Midwest Region. Vault’s 2012 Law Firm Rankings named Schiff Hardin among “The Best 25 Law Firms for Diversity.” Schiff Hardin received perfect scores in both the 2011 and 2012 Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, and the firm has been ranked by Equality Illinois as a leading law firm in the state for its achievements in LGBT workplace equality.
