Jonathan M. Judge, a partner in Schiff Hardin's Product Liability Group, will present at the Defense Research Institute's Damages Seminar on Thursday, March 18. His presentation is titled "Defending Claims for Future Medical Expenses: New Approaches to Present Value and Collateral Source Rule." The seminar is taking place at the Vdara Hotel in Las Vegan, Nev.

Learn about fresh approaches to defending claims involving future medical expenses. Mr. Judge will provide an inquisitive look into the use of annuity plans to estimate present value and current state law trends involving the collateral source rule, with a focus on claimants receiving public medical assistance and a brief overview of the new Medicare Requirements for Settlements (MMSEA).
