Schiff Hardin Family Event at Ravinia Festival!
Schiff Hardin attorneys spearheaded a new way to network that did not require a choice between family and work. With strong firm support, Schiff Hardin’s Parenting Group held a unique networking event at Ravinia Festival, an outdoor music arena just outside of Chicago which combined business goals with a personal touch. Families had an opportunity to connect over great music by the Dirty Sock Funtime Band and themed art projects.
The event provided grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and friends an opportunity to network with other professionals who also share these important life roles out side of the office. Attended by Schiff Hardin clients, attorneys and their families, the event was a resounding success by all accounts. Clients noted that that the event showcased for their children, grandchildren and other relatives how easily work-life balance can be attained and just how much fun networking can be. Guests were impressed by the demonstration of the firm’s values in action: dedication to the balance of professional goals and personal choices, inclusiveness, support for families and work-life balance. Schiff Hardin attorneys were delighted to have the opportunity to invite their clients’ families to such a great event and solidify their professional and personal relationships.
More than one guest noted that in the current economic climate, it is not a common or easy thing for a law firm to host a cutting-edge and spirited event. However, Schiff Hardin knows that it remains important to stay ahead of the curve and support firm members’ and clients’ needs. Many thanks again to the primary organizers, partners Kelly Warner, David McHugh, Lisa Brown and Felice Rose.
