The firm hosted an event for the Coalition of Women's Initiatives in Law Firms. Sara Holtz of Client Focus presented the Seven Habits of Successful Women Rainmakers. Forty women attorneys from Schiff attending the event and twenty ore women participated in post-event opportunities to hear a similar presentation by Sara Holtz that was offered by the Project for Attorney Retention, another organization supported by Schiff Hardin.

Schiff Hardin held its first Parenting Group family networking event at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois. Schiff's Parenting Group, co-chaired by David McHugh and Kelly Warner, organized this successful event, which featured Dirty Sock Funtime Band, a multi-national band appearing as part of Ravinia's Kraft Kids Concert Series. A diverse array of families attended the event, including attorneys and clients, parents and non-parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and, of course, several children.
