Prior to joining Schiff Hardin, Ms. Motley has represented corporate and individual clients in a number of matters, including:
- Managing initiation of a trademark infringement lawsuit on behalf of a multinational FTSE 100 corporation, advising the legal team regarding case management procedures imposed by federal and local rules.
- Representing a corporate policyholder in insurance coverage litigation, including drafting responses to written discovery requests, analyzing complex insurance coverage issues, and composing factual and legal research memoranda.
- Advising and representing a client during an on-site National Labor Relations Board union election vote.
- Drafting and filing a trademark office action response to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
