Previous Experience
Prior to joining Schiff Hardin, Ms. Mathewson served as professional responsibility counsel for a large firm with offices throughout the country. There, she handled all professional liability claims and disciplinary complaints against the firm and its attorneys, and the reporting of such claims to the firm’s insurance carrier.
Prior to that experience, Ms. Mathewson litigated commercial matters for both an international law firm and large litigation firm. She handled numerous professional liability claims involving attorneys, accountants, directors and officers and physicians; insurance coverage disputes and other commercial matters.
