Pro Bono Activities
In 2008, Mr. Ludman helped to win asylum for a Guatemalan woman seeking to escape brutal violence in Central America. The matter was referred to him by the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area (LCCR).
Mr. Ludman successfully represented a charitable service organization when its former Web site was copied and used to promote products that were fiercely offensive to the client. He was able to shut down the site and have the domain name transferred back to the charity.
Previous Experience
Ludman joined the firm from the products liability group of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. In addition, he has been the Director of Management and Legal Information Systems at Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe.
Mr. Ludman has run a database consulting company, and created case management systems used to coordinate many national litigation efforts and negotiated technical, service and systems development contracts on behalf of clients.
