Previous Experience
Ms. Long has represented privately held corporate and nonprofit clients in a variety of matters including virtually all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, from drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, interim agreements, and financing documents, through closing. She also has experience representing residential cooperative apartment corporations in matters involving corporate law and landlord/tenant issues, and in drafting and reviewing documents in connection with issues related to trust and estate transfers of apartment corporation stock. She has prepared numerous agreements, including operating agreements, consignments agreements, partnership buy-out agreements, employment agreements, leases and license agreements.
During law school, Ms. Long was a Len Rubinowitz Public Interest Fellow at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Regional Counsel in Chicago. She also served as Public Interest Law Initiative Intern/Equal Justice America Summer Fellow and Extern in the Consumer Law and Bankruptcy Projects at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago.
