Mr. Kluever regularly represents corporations, as well as real estate developers and investors, in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of varied and unique industrial properties. This practice is comprehensive and involves all aspects of a real estate transaction including negotiating and drafting real estate contracts, leases and other land use agreements, performing due diligence and handling closings. The projects have been diverse and involved properties of various type, size and location. These projects often have included unique environmental, zoning and other land use issues. Mr. Kluever has also closed on numerous sale-leaseback transactions involving industrial properties.
Mr. Kluever is actively involved in all real estate and land use aspects of renewable energy projects, with a particular emphasis on wind development. He has represented regulated utilities, developers and owners in acquiring, selling and developing wind energy projects. These projects have involved assisting clients with evaluating and securing options, easements and other land use rights, evaluating and securing required land and construction related special use permits, licenses and approvals and assisting with project compliance issues.
