P. Mark Mahoney
Associate
P. Mark Mahoney focuses his practice on product liability and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience managing claims involving consumer products in which it was alleged that the product’s use resulted in catastrophic injury or death. Mr. Mahoney also brings and defends complex commercial lawsuits on behalf of Fortune 500 companies. His practice spans all aspects of civil litigation and he has experience litigating in both state and federal courts. Additionally, Mr. Mahoney is active in Schiff Hardin’s pro bono practice.
Among his experiences:
- Representing product manufacturers in Proposition 65, toxic tort, and construction defect litigation.
- Defending a manufacturer of table saws in cases involving severe injury and amputation.
- Defending a manufacturer of children’s car seats in cases involving death and serious injury.
- Representing an international supplier of liquid gasses in complex contract disputes.
- Defending an international manufacturer of hydraulic jacks in a case involving paralysis.
- Representing a large national manufacturer in antitrust litigation arising out of natural gas pricing.
- Representing an individual investor in securities fraud litigation.
