Tamera M. Woodard has extensive experience representing management in all facets of labor and employment relationships, including claims arising under:
- Title VII
- The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
- Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
- Other federal and state statutes
She litigates employment and labor claims in federal and state courts and before government agencies, and she represents employers in arbitrations and mediations.
Ms. Woodard also conducts anti-harassment and discrimination training for employees and management, and has experience reviewing and advising clients on employee handbooks and related employment policies.
In 2008, Ms. Woodard was selected to the Leadership Academy of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.

Previous Experience
Prior to joining Schiff Hardin, Ms. Woodard worked at two other Atlanta law firms where she gained experience in various aspects of labor and employment matters, as well as complex civil and multi-district litigation.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Woodard was a worker's compensation specialist for a major insurance company and a military service representative for one of the largest shipping companies in the world.
