It all began in Chicago.

Schiff Hardin has deep roots in The Windy City, tracing our beginning to the Hitchcock and Dupee firm that was founded in 1864. As the city grew, so did we. In fact, our attorneys were involved in many of the projects that have shaped this city.

Look at our renowned skyline, and you will see our work — the Prudential Building, the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and the recent renovation of Soldier Field. Our offices are in one of the crown jewels of the city — the famed Sears Tower.

Many famed Chicago names, such as the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and the Chicago Bears Football Club, Inc. have long-standing relationships with our firm.

Our reception desk is located on the 66th Floor in the Sears Tower. The Sears Tower is located between Adams Street and Jackson Boulevard on the north and south sides and Wacker Drive and Franklin Street on the west and east sides, respectively.
