Affirmative Action Support
Schiff Hardin's Labor and Employment Group assists our federal contractor clients to stay abreast of increasingly frequent regulatory developments and initiatives issued by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
Our firm also assists clients in affirmative action compliance reviews. Depending upon client needs, our firm's attorneys have either participated in on-site compliance reviews or been available behind the scenes for consultation in addressing requests by the OFCCP. We also have negotiated with the OFCCP over the terms of conciliation agreements and helped clients to fulfill any additional reporting obligations imposed by those agreements.
Further, in addition to reviewing and updating affirmative action plans, attorneys in our Labor and Employment Group have helped new federal contractors draft affirmative action plans, including availability analyses, workforce analyses, and adverse impact analyses.
