Previous Experience

Prior to joining Schiff Hardin, Ms. Carlson worked for the Department of Homeland Security as a Congressional Liaison Specialist for U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement, Office of Congressional Relations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Congressional Affairs. She also was a law clerk for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of the Chief Counsel.

Ms. Carlson started her journalism career by holding various broadcasting positions for the Sun Devil Sports Network and the Cable News Network (CNN).
