Carrie Lynn H. Okizaki concentrates her practice in advising owners, developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other design professionals in a variety of commercial and litigation matters, including:
Her experiences include creating and negotiating project-specific form contracts (furnish/furnish and direct/design/consulting) for large construction projects. Ms. Okizaki also has experience in claim preparation and evaluation, prosecution and defense of contractor claims before both state and federal courts.
Ms. Okizaki also works to have claims and other construction disputes resolved efficiently and cost effectively through alternative dispute resolution procedures such as mediation and arbitration.
Prior to joining Schiff Hardin, Ms. Okizaki practiced with two firms in Denver, Colorado.
