Mr. Oberdier's experience includes:
- Lead counsel in four major trials or arbitration hearings
- Winning a verdict in a patent case worth several hundred million dollars that upheld a foreign manufacturer's right to import its flagship product into the United States
- Winning an arbitration award on behalf of a reinsurer claiming a violation of the duty of utmost good faith
- Winning dismissal of several lawsuits against foreign clients on Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act or forum non conveniens grounds
- Winning numerous dispositive motions on behalf of his clients and negotiating favorable settlements on behalf of many others
