Matthew D. Lahey, a partner in Schiff Hardin's Labor and Employment Group, will speak at the "Preventing Employment Discrimination in Illinois" seminar presented by Lorman Education Services. Mr. Lahey’s session is "Liability Avoidance," which will focus on best HR practices (interviewing, investigating complaints and more); discipline and discharges (documenting performance and choosing the discipline); and layoffs and RIFs.

This one-day seminar is designed for attorneys, human resource managers, business owners and managers, supervisors and controllers. It will be held at University Center in Chicago.
