I'll Be Watching You: Counseling Plaintiffs, Unions and Employers on Privacy in the Workplace

Brittain Jr. will moderate the panel discussion "I'll Be Watching You: Counseling Plaintiffs, Unions and Employers on Privacy in the Workplace" during the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law Annual CLE Conference in Philadelphia, Penn. taking place Nov. 7-10.

This panel will examine way that the explosion of blogging, personal Web pages and e-mail has blurred the boundaries between what employees say at work and what they say in private. They will discuss the implications of this new technology for employee privacy and employer self-protection. This session will also cover new issues raised by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, HIPAA, the Uniform Job Reference Statute, and drug, genetic and psychological testing.
